FAQ

Q: What's the name of the mod that gives the moveable frames for Durability, Quest tracking, etc..? Trying to lock it or at least make it so the grey boxes won't display and I can't figure it out.
A:
That's part of simpleminimap. Right click your map and enable movers, then unlock your map and you'll see little grey boxes. Move them around to where you'd like, when you hover over them it'll tell you which box is which. When you have them where you like, lock your minimap and the boxes will go away.

Remeber:
- when you log in after installing the UI, you will have to set up few addons!
- this UI is made for 1280x1024 resolution,
- it is not perfect, so you may have some bugs while playing, specially if you will use it with addons I never used.

Apricot UI - installation guide

Welcome to Apricot UI instalation guide!
1. First of all make a backup of your WoW Interface and WTF folders.
2. Open WoW Interface folder and copy "Tooltip" folder there
3. Open WoW Interface and copy "AddOns" folder there4. Open WTF folder: WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAME\ and copy "SavedVariables" folder there5. Run WoW, tick "Load out of date addons", login.

6. If your addons do not work, you need to open it's options, go to "Profile" tab, and load "Apricot" or "Miodek" profile.

First login:

Now:
1. Set up tooltip: move this pointer: to the right top corner of minimap - as shown above.
Type: /ttw lock
2. Set up eCastingBag. Type: /ecb than click Profiles and load Miodek profile.

3. Set up Bartender4. Type: /bt4, go Profiles, select Copy From Apricot (or Miodek)

4. Resize and move Recount. Set up Chatter - to make it happen you may have to disable this addon, click "Unlock window" on standard chat window and load Chatter addon again. Now you can move it!

5. Your UI is almost done!

You can set up all addons just like you want!

Few advices:
- If you are missing buttons (because you don't have stance bar like I do), type /bt4, unlock bars, see what bar you want to modify and just do it :)
- There is no unit frame for pet, because I don't have any pet class to test the UI with it. You can add it in ag_UnitFrames
- To set up some addons press Esc, click Interface and select tab Addons. You can also find addons on FuBar. For some addons you have to type command to show its options.
- In ag_UnitFrames you can't set up focus by clicking. You need to type, for example:
/focus Apricot, to clear it: /clearfocus
- simpleMinimap does not support WoW Calendar. To see it type /calendar

If you have any problems or questions, write to me:
konto.inne@gmail.com

If you don't like the UI, you can unistall it:
- delete Interface and WTF folders
- copy Interface and WTF folders from your backup

Hints

Here I will post hints in my UI :)

First: bag bar
I don't have any button, even hidden, to click and show bags. I got it under a keybinding. I'm using Bagnon so I can see all-in-one bag.

Second: micro menu is hidden in right top corner. You can set opacity in Bartender4. It does not look very clear when you are targetig someone, but I don't use micro menu often, so I don't really care.

Unit Frames

Here are examples of how my unit frames look like. Compare Grid with ag_UnitFrames and see what is the best for you!

In new version of Apricot UI I'm using Grid for party and raid. Why so? I like see when someone is out of range and I have clear look on heath bars.
That means, if you want to use ag_UnitFrames for party and raid, you need to set it up! Unfortunately I deleted my party/raid settings for this addon, but it is not so difficult to set up. You can always ask me questions about that!

Apricot UI - general look

I'm using current version of Apricot UI for my paladin healer, so I did not set up ag_UnitFrames for party and raid look insetead of using Grid. There are also differences in stance bar location and 4 more buttos on right panel for paladin.
